My name is John E. Goins II, President and Founder of Fire Werks LTD. I am writing to introduce our company and the full range of fire alarm and life safety services we provide to commercial, government, and military clients across the United States.
I began my career in the electrical trades in 1995 as an apprentice with Riviera Electric, one of Colorado's most respected electrical contractors. Trained through the Riviera Electric Academy and driven by a commitment to mastering my craft, I earned my Colorado Journeyman Electrician license after four years of hands-on education and field experience.
Recognizing the critical and specialized nature of low voltage and fire alarm systems — disciplines where the stakes are measured in lives, not just code compliance — I committed myself to mastering this field. In 2010, I established Fire Werks LTD as a Colorado LLC, later restructuring as a Sub-S Corporation to support the company's continued growth.
Today, Fire Werks LTD operates a full-service installation and service group, holding local and federal contracts and working alongside multi-billion dollar companies on some of the most demanding projects in the country. Our portfolio includes Nashville International Airport, the Microsoft Campus, the VA Hospital in Denver, and multiple U.S. Air Force bases including Sheppard AFB (TX), Altus AFB (OK), and Whiteman AFB (MO) — home of the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber.
Our team holds NICET Level IV certification — the highest level awarded by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies — and maintains full compliance with NFPA 72 on every project. We are fully licensed, insured, and cleared for federal and military facility work.
Whether you require a new fire alarm system design and installation, a full inspection and testing program, system upgrades, or ongoing monitoring and service, Fire Werks LTD has the expertise, credentials, and track record to deliver. Every project we take on — regardless of size or complexity — receives the same level of precision and accountability that has defined this company from day one.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss your project requirements and demonstrate what Fire Werks LTD can deliver for your facility. Please do not hesitate to reach out at your convenience.
